Jeffrey
Born in Manhattan (not Kansas), Jeffrey Tanenhaus is the unlikely founder of an Oklahoma tour company. The former double-decker bus guide and corporate event planner quit his career in the Big Apple and went west by bicycle — Forrest Gump style — to see the real America.
On the way to OKC, an ax murderer attacked him in Creek County. He returned to Tulsa to recover and settled there. He founded Tulsa Tours just before the pandemic and has grown it into Tulsa’s leading tour operator in quality, expertise and revenue thanks to a team of five guides and one vehicle — which probably needs to be rebranded.
Eager to expand his horizons to a bigger and bolder city, Jeffrey invites you to explore OKC with him and Ryan on this new venture.

Ryan
Born and raised in Edmond, Ryan had an athletic and artistic childhood. He played guitar, won a state-wide art contest, and earned seven letters in sports at Deer Creek High School. He received one of two academic Presidential Scholarships to Ottawa University in Kansas that had recruited him to wrestle. Ryan climbed into the Top-25 174 lbs. NAIA rankings before retiring due to injuries. He then transferred to Oklahoma State University before returning to Edmond to finish his studies at the University of Central Oklahoma where he’ll receive a B.A. in history in December.
Ryan met his future wife, Allison, while bartending at Pub W American Ale House. The newlyweds live in Midwest City with their rescue dog, Double O’Steven. Allison and Ryan have visited 22 countries and nearly all 50 states between them. Star Wars and Harry Potter vie for the premier fantasy series in the household where an overflowing bookshelf is lined with volumes about cooking, fantasy, and Oklahoma history.
